Charles Wilson VA Outpatient Clinic –

Lufkin, Texas

Langston Construction was selected as the Design/Build contractor for the new Charles Wilson VA Outpatient Clinic in Lufkin. Groundbreaking for the 45,803 square-foot building was held on December 7, 2007. The facility will offer primary care, mental health care, radiological services, laboratory services and a pharmacy for all East Texas veterans. Specifically, the building will house patient exam and treatment rooms, a patient waiting area, offices, diagnostic and testing facilities, a pharmacy and laboratory. Langston secured the services of Hester & Sanders Architecture in Lufkin to design the building. Construction is scheduled to be completed in Winter 2009.
 

Janelle Grum Unit-Women's Shelter of East Texas - Lufkin, Texas

Langston Construction has been selected as the Design/Build Contractor for the newest unit of the Women’s Shelter of East Texas. Housed in Lufkin, this 13,755 square foot facility will include provide administrative offices for the area. The administration building has 15 offices, a family room and a conference room, in addition to restrooms, a break room and a reception area.
Construction on the project, which began in September 20007, is slated to be completed by July 2008.
 

SpringHill Suites – Webster, Texas

Langston Construction is managing the construction of a new 121-room SpringHill Suites in Webster, Texas. One of the first of a new generation of prototypes for the chain, the 6-story hotel will house 47 king suites, 67 double/queen suites and seven handicap accessible suites served by two hydraulic elevators. Estimated completion date is September 2008.

SpringHill Suites – Waco, Texas

Langston Construction is the construction manager for a new 116-room SpringHill Suites at Legends Crossing in Waco, Texas. One of several new-generation facilities currently under construction, this hotel will feature 74 king suites, 35 double/queen suites and seven handicap accessible suites. Two elevators will provide service to the 5-story building. In addition, the complex will house a conference room, board room, breakfast buffet area, exercise room and pool. Interior rooms are finished with paint, vinyl wall covering and ceramic tile on gypsum. Estimated completion date is June 2009.

Springhill Suites – Houston, Texas

Langston Construction has been designated the construction manager for a new 6-story, 156-room SpringHill Suites at Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston. The new-generation facility will include 92 king suites, 56 double/queen suites and eight handicap accessible suites, all served by two elevators. In addition, the complex will house a conference room, board room, breakfast buffet area, exercise room and pool. Interior rooms are finished with paint, vinyl wall covering and ceramic tile on gypsum. Estimated completion date is July 2009.
 

First Baptist Church – Livingston, Texas

Langston Construction has been selected as the Design/Build contractor for First Baptist Church’s new facility in Livingston. The single-story 44,500 square foot building will feature a 650-seat worship center, a large foyer with atrium, education rooms, offices and two small kitchens. Nestled among 75 wooded acres, the facility will feature a brick and plaster finish with a standing seam metal roof. The project also entails almost 215,000 square feet of paved roads and parking. Completion is targeted for summer of 2008.
