About Langston Construction

Built on Relationships

Since 1990, our company has grown through long-term relationships, repeat clients, and a reputation for integrity that continues to strengthen with every project completed.

Our Heritage

The Langston Legacy

Two generations of Langstons have built their careers — and their reputations — on the same belief: that how you build is just as important as what you build.

01

The Foundation · 1990

Don Langston — Founder

Don founded Langston Construction in 1990 on the simple belief that quality work and honest relationships build a strong company. Even before establishing the business, he had been immersed in construction, working his way through operations, planning, estimating, and purchasing. His commitment to doing what's right continues to guide the company's culture and relationships today. The standard he set is still the one the team holds itself to every single day.

02

Today's Leadership · 1994–Present

Kevin Langston — President & CEO

Kevin joined the family business full-time in 1994 after earning his MBA from Baylor University and has led Langston Construction ever since. Under his leadership, the company has refined its pre-construction process, deepened its industry expertise, and grown its reputation as one of the most trusted commercial builders in East Texas — all while maintaining the relationship-first culture his father instilled from day one.

Meet the Team

Experienced Leadership. Personal Accountability.

At Langston Construction, leadership isn’t distant. It’s present, involved, and personally invested in every project we undertake. Our clients benefit from direct communication and steady guidance — from the first planning conversation through final walkthrough.

Kevin Langston

President & CEO · 2nd Generation

Kevin Langston leads Langston Construction with a commitment to excellence, integrity, and service. Growing up in the construction industry and joining the family business full-time in 1994, Kevin has developed a deep understanding of every aspect of successful construction delivery.

Kevin is known for his straightforward approach and his emphasis on transparent communication. He believes the most important work in any project happens before the first wall goes up — in the planning conversations, budget alignment, and shared understanding of what success looks like for the client. That belief has earned Langston a reputation for delivering on schedule, within budget, and without surprises.

“I want every client to feel, at the end of a project, that we understood them — that we built something that reflected their vision, not just our process.”
Beyond the job site, Kevin is deeply invested in the Lufkin community. He serves as Board President of Angelina Thrive, a member and Past President of Lufkin Host Lions Club, Deacon of First Baptist Church Lufkin where he also serves as Trustee. He is a graduate of Leadership Lufkin and a longtime member of TEXO — the local chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America.

President & CEO · 2nd Generation

Chris Clark is a third-generation contractor with more than 25 years of experience as a business owner, contractor, and project manager. That background means he understands construction from every angle — not just how to manage a project, but how the people on every side of it think, communicate, and make decisions.

His approach centers on communication, responsiveness, and ethical practice. Chris works closely with owners, architects, engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors alike, treating each with equal respect and courtesy. On every project, he promotes safety, dependability, and quality — not as policies to follow, but as personal commitments he brings to the job every day.

“Clear communication is the most valuable tool on any job site.”

Chris has managed a wide range of complex projects including public safety facilities, sports complexes, school buildings, homeland security facilities, and civic projects. He’s a former board member of the Construction Specification Institute and brings that level of professional depth to every engagement.

Outside of work, Chris is a husband, father of four, volunteer worship leader, and an active Advisory Board member for both The Salvation Army and Men’s Fieldhouse.

Estimator & Project Manager

Joshua Fullerton brings a rare combination of skills to Langston Construction — the analytical precision of an experienced estimator and the field awareness of a project manager who understands how construction actually gets built. That combination means clients benefit from accurate, honest numbers from day one and steady execution all the way through.

Joshua works at the intersection of pre-construction and delivery — where the plans meet reality. He’s the kind of person who catches a potential issue during the estimate phase and has already thought through three solutions before bringing it to the team. Clients who’ve worked with him consistently note his responsiveness, his attention to detail, and his ability to explain complex cost structures in plain language.

“The best surprises on a construction project are the ones that never happen.”

Joshua’s role is central to what sets Langston apart. Accurate estimating protects your budget. Careful project management protects your schedule. He does both, and takes both seriously.

What We Believe

The Values That Drive Every Decision

These aren’t aspirational statements. They’re the principles Don instilled and Kevin carries forward — held to every day, on every project.

Integrity First

We say what we mean and do what we say. Every time. That's not a value we aspire to — it's the standard we hold ourselves to on every project, every day.

Intentional Process

Careful planning, honest scoping, and clear expectations before construction begins. That's how we protect your budget and your peace of mind.

Clear Communication

No surprises. No runaround. You'll always know where your project stands. Transparency isn't extra — it's expected from day one.

Community Roots

We've built in East Texas for generations. These are our communities too — our kids go to these schools, we gather in these churches. We take that personally.

Construction That Puts the Client First

We believe the construction experience should feel organized, transparent, and steady.

Our team works closely with clients from the earliest planning conversations through final completion. We listen carefully. We ask the right questions. We identify potential concerns before they become obstacles.

Whether your priorities are budget clarity, scheduling efficiency, minimizing disruption to ongoing operations, or maintaining strict safety standards, we work to create solutions that give you confidence at every stage.

We take single-source responsibility seriously, and we stand behind our work.

We Don’t Leave Outcomes to Chance

With decades of experience and a strong network of trade partners, we’re equipped to deliver complex, large-scale projects, including multi-million-dollar facilities and public bond work

At the same time, we remain approachable and personally involved. Leadership stays engaged. Communication stays direct. And our clients always know who to call.

We bring the capability of a seasoned commercial builder with the responsiveness of a hands-on partner.

Every project receives the same level of commitment, regardless of size.
