Langston Construction completed the full renovation of the former Moore Building to create a new Angelina County government annex.
The project transformed the building into a modern facility housing the Commissioners Court, county administrative offices, tax offices, and a customer service drive-thru designed to improve public accessibility.
Renovations included new exterior windows, storefront doors, updated restroom facilities, and interior finishes such as ceramic tile, solid-surface countertops, and modern fixtures.
The Commissioners Court chamber features a custom-designed commissioners’ desk and podium, while the courtroom includes decorative chair rail and wainscoting detailing.
Additional upgrades included the replacement of elevator equipment, the installation of an emergency generator, and a full exterior repaint to provide a refreshed civic presence.

The project included raising the street paving to eliminate steps between sidewalks and roadways, improving accessibility and creating a more pedestrian-friendly environment.

Using the design-build delivery method, Langston Construction delivered a modern outpatient facility containing approximately 185 rooms, three waiting areas, and a variety of medical support spaces, including a Starbucks coffee kiosk for visitors and staff.
The facility features a pre-engineered structure with a standing seam metal roof, metal stud framing, and a combination brick and EIFS exterior system designed for durability and efficiency.
