Lufkin High School Athletic Complex
- Lufkin, Texas
Langston Construction delivered a comprehensive master-planned athletic complex for Lufkin High School, expanding the school’s sports facilities and enhancing the overall campus experience..
The project included new baseball and softball fields, a field house, tennis courts, and supporting infrastructure across an 18-acre site. Athletic facilities feature turf infields and outfields, LED field lighting, concrete stadium seating, press boxes, dugouts, bullpens, and batting cages.
Additional work included parking, paving, ornamental campus entry features, landscaping, and construction of a new bridge to expand the campus drive loop and improve traffic flow.
The result is a modern athletic complex designed to support student-athletes and community engagement for years to come.
Malakoff Elementary School
- Malakoff, Texas
After a devastating fire destroyed the original Malakoff Elementary School, Langston Construction was selected to help the district rebuild and restore a critical community facility.
The new 52,000-square-foot elementary school was constructed ahead of schedule and delivered significantly under budget. Through careful planning, value engineering, and strong project management, the Langston team achieved over $1.5 million in cost savings for the district.
Today, the new Malakoff Elementary stands as a symbol of resilience — transforming a tragic loss into a modern facility designed to serve future generations of students
Zavalla ISD Campus Expansion
- Zavalla, Texas
Langston Construction completed a unique design-build project for Zavalla ISD that connected four previously separate campus buildings into a cohesive educational facility.
The project required careful coordination due to varying elevations, unconventional building angles, and the need to integrate new structures with existing facilities.
New construction included classroom space, administrative offices, and storage areas, along with the development of a sports complex featuring a field track and two baseball/softball fields.
All work was completed safely while school remained in session, with students and faculty occupying nearby buildings throughout construction.
Angelina College Projects - Lufkin, Texas
